About Us

Traveling Music Lessons offers private, one-on-one music instruction for all instruments in the comfort and convenience of your own home. We bring inspiration to your doorstep.

Why we believe in the in-home model:

  • Students are accustomed to practicing on their own instrument, so it makes sense for the lessons to take place on the same instrument, especially with piano and other large instruments.
  • Racing through traffic after work to arrive on time to lessons is tough. With gasoline prices on the rise, it is truly a luxury to have your teacher come to you.
  • Peace of mind knowing your child is at home where you can monitor, and even listen to the lesson if you would like.

Teaching Philosophy

As someone who has taken music lessons for 25 years, I understand the teacher/student relationship is much more involved than learning how to read notes on a page. A great teacher will not only provide their students with the information necessary to understand how music works, but also with opportunities to perform and showcase their skills. Students tend to practice material they are excited about. Allowing people to learn their favorite songs is critical to continued engagement and excitement. Traveling Music Lessons holds two recitals per year encouraging everyone to get on stage and showcase their skills. We offer an encouraging, positive and supportive space for self expression, and we have a ton of fun!

“We love Ms. Dina! My daughter has made huge leaps in her piano playing, from knowing next to nothing, to now sight reading and playing some intro classical in just a few months. We’d recommend her to anyone wanting to learn piano.” – Ed B.

“I’m so happy with this service! Our piano teacher can teach my daughter while I prepare dinner, so nice to have them come to us!” – Andrew J.

“We are so happy with our new voice coach and think it’s going to be great!  She really seems to care about fine tuning my daughter’s skills.  VERY happy!!!” – Susan C.

“Instructor showed up on time and knew his material.  Very pleased with the lesson.” – Rick A.

“From the time Brian sat down with me to the time he left. He explained everything to me in a way I could understand. He took the time to ask me what kind of music I liked so we could match the best type of music for me to learn and play and to keep me engaged. I cant thank him enough for everything and look forward to many more lessons with Brian!” – Justin N.
