Dina Chronis is a classically trained pianist with a career in music that spans over 20 years. She started playing piano at the age of 6 and quickly realized her love for music. She received a piano scholarship from Grand Canyon University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance. Dina studied music history in the Masters program at Arizona State University when she had a great opportunity to audition and study in Europe. She was accepted at the Conservatory of Music in Patras, Greece where she received her advanced degree in Piano Performance.
Dina began teaching piano in college to students at all levels and truly wants to pass on the same excellence and love of music she received. She believes that a healthy teaching atmosphere is essential for the development of musicality as well as understanding and love for music. While always challenging her pupils to reach their best abilities, she takes great care in keeping their motivation and focus alert throughout their lessons and balances all aspects of music equally from technique and position, listening to playing, theory to aural skills and musical understanding throughout the whole process.
