Marysa Bocko has been singing and playing piano since she was 5 years old. She grew up in New Hampshire, singing in church choirs, playing in recitals, and performing in local musical theatre productions. She attended The Concord Music School, where she sang in The Concord Chorale. Marysa has also been an accompanist and music director at various churches and schools. After attending The Concord Music School, she majored in Piano, Voice and English at the University of New Hampshire, where she studied piano pedagogy in the Piano Extension Program. Marysa was also a member of the UNH Touring Concert Choir, which placed in many international competitions. In January 2017, Marysa moved to Denver to pursue a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. She still loves playing piano, and she is passionate about teaching music lessons, while performing with professional ensembles like The Cherry Creek Chorale. Marysa teaches all ages and skill levels, and all styles – classical to pop. She tailors every lesson to the interests of her students. She brings enthusiasm, encouragement, and positivity to her lessons! Her teaching philosophy is about empowering her students to find their unique voice through music.
