Sierra Steenson is originally from North Dakota, where she began taking piano lessons at the age of 8. She began learning saxophone at 10, and taking vocal lessons at 14. She is trained in both contemporary and classical styles with the ability to teach both, including the Suzuki Method. Her students have ranged from age 2 to age 40. Sierra obtained her Bachelor of Science from North Dakota State University and is furthering her education at Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles, CA, where she has been refining her craft as a musician as well as studying songwriting, performance, production, and music business.
