Hailing from the Bay Area, John has been playing music since he was five years old. By the age of ten, he had picked up the guitar and was taking lessons from some of the most renowned guitar teachers in the area. He moved to New Orleans to perfect his craft while beginning to make a career out of teaching/playing guitar. He graduated in 2020 from Loyola University with a degree in Music Business with a focus on guitar and songwriting, and he has been in Austin, TX ever since. John fronts his own band while also playing guitar and bass in two other projects. It doesn't matter the genre or what your age or experience is - John believes that anyone and everyone can get something out of music, and he has made it his life's work to spread music to anyone willing to listen and learn.
