About

Originally from London, England, Tessa has been singing for as long as she can remember. An alumna of The Ohio State University (2021), where she gained her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, with minors in Music and African and African American Studies, she is currently pursuing her Master’s of Music in Vocal Performance at Kent State University, with an expected graduation in Spring 2024, studying under Tim Culver. She has experience teaching voice and piano to all ages, in-home, in private studios and online, as well as teaching at Summer Camps. At Kent, she performs with their opera theatre company, and is focusing on a classical voice concentration. Upon graduation, Tessa would like to pursue a second master’s degree in Voice Pedagogy, to further enhance her teacher skill set. In her spare time, Tessa can be found listening to 1970’s dad music or Taylor Swift, working part-time as a barista coffee connoisseur or playing with her two cats, Miss Kitty and Cheeto.
