Meg Sheehy is currently a student of bossa nova guitar but grew up in VA enjoying the Ventures, Ella Fitzgerald, Nirvana, folk and rockabilly. Having worked at School of Rock, and rehearsed in jazz and bluegrass, they remain interested in a most styles. Meg admires greatly Bill Frisell, John Fahey, Olivier Messiaen, Ry Cooder, Mark Knopfler, Caetano Veloso, Marc Ribot, Tom Verlaine, Kurt Vile, the Meters, Peter Buck, Reyna Tropical, Pj Harvey Tim Gain etc….. Meg is keen on scale decoding and utilizing lyric and lick creation to enhance muscle memory, yet they are open to all levels & interests.
