Lainey Bernstein is a singer-songwriter who is known not only for her wide vocal range, but also for her wide range of singing styles. Her training and experience include a degree in Vocal Performance from Texas Woman’s University, many years of voice lessons, as well as her own regular solo performances. For 10 years she was a Voice Teacher in the Lake Highlands Public schools, and for 6 years, she was a Master Voice Instructor, as well as a Piano teacher at Park Cities School of Music. Both were in Dallas, TX, where she lived for 36 years. While at the private school, she also directed two Musical Productions. Miss Bernstein teaches Performance Workshops and Stage Presence Classes. She has taught Acting, and Musical Theater classes, as well as Preschool music.

This will be her seventeenth year teaching private Voice Lessons in public schools, private schools, and in her home studio. Lainey released her first inspirational CD in 2007, and in 2014, she released CD number two. All of her music can be found on iTunes and Spotify. Pre-Covid, she was also a drummer in a Japanese Taiko Style drum group which allowed her even more opportunities for performance and creative expression. She was Assistant Music Director, then Music and Fine Arts Director at CSLDallas, which was her Spiritual Home for 20 years. She is now Music Director at Unity Church Austin.
