Ben Zurier works as a Drummer/Percussionist based in the Los Angeles area. Zurier has been featured on drum set in numerous jazz, rock and hip-hop bands as well as in various world ensembles. While focusing primarily on drum set, Zurier is also well-versed in several world percussion instruments, including several types of frame drums, pandeiro, tabla, congas, West African percussion, caxixi, and other assorted shakers and percussion. Zurier is also proficient in beginning-intermediate piano and voice lessons. He is a 2013 graduate of Towson University in Maryland with a Bachelors in Music in the Jazz/Commercial program with a concentration in Jazz Drum Set and a
2016 graduate from the California Institute of the Arts with a Masters in Fine Arts and a concentration in World Percussion.
