About

Andrea Bock was educated at both Ohio Wesleyan and the University of New Mexico in music, creative writing and psychology. She began learning to play the organ around 4 years old and added to that piano, clarinet, guitar and voice.

Andrea has had years of experience with special needs students and particularly enjoys the autistic and ADHD populations. She also loves foreign students and adults, and everyone else in between!

From 1995-2002, she engineered a small recording studio in Taos, New Mexico. Her clients included mariachi bands, singer/songwriters and poets. Andrea feels she learned so much about teaching music and how to listen well during these years.

Andrea currently teaches piano, composes music, writes short stories and is often published in independent humor magazines.
