Treston Haines is currently studying Vocal Music Education at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio where he will graduate in 2024 with a Bachelor of Music. He specializes in numerous genres, including classical, musical theatre, and contemporary. Treston frequently assists with local schools in their choral and theatre departments, teaching a variety of age groups and styles of learning. His primary goal is to ensure that each of his students is able to learn freely and authentically through exploration and discovery. Treston has competed in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Student Auditions, where he advanced to national semifinals twice and earned awards such as honorable mention and first place in his division of the Great Lakes Region. He was also awarded runner up of the premier Ohio Art Song Competition in 2022. Treston is eager and excited to continue applying his knowledge and experiences in new ways!
