Isaac Messerschmidt is a passionate musician and dedicated teacher with a lifelong love for music. He discovered his musical calling early, starting piano lessons at just five years old. While his journey began with classical music, it was popular music and original soundtracks that truly sparked his creative spirit.
With years of teaching experience, Isaac has become an expert at sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with students of all ages and skill levels. His patient and encouraging approach helps his students explore their musical abilities and develop their own unique voices.
Isaac holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Dickinson College, where he also served as the Director of Music for the well-known a cappella group, the Dickinson Octals. Under his leadership, the group delivered captivating performances and built a strong sense of camaraderie. By blending his studies in philosophy with his love for music, Isaac brings a unique perspective and depth to his compositions.
Teaching is a big part of Isaac's life, but he's also pursuing his own musical dreams. He's currently working on building an impressive portfolio as he prepares to pursue a Master of Music degree in Film Composition. His passion for scoring films has grown immensely, and he's excited to turn his love for cinematic music into a fulfilling career.
Outside of music, Isaac is a devoted fan of Arsenal Football Club, cheering on his team with the rallying cry of #COYG. He also loves spending time in nature, often going on hikes with his loyal Great Dane, Koda, and his cat, Mort.
