About

Meg Lauren is from a small town in the mountains of Northeastern California. She discovered her passion for the arts at an early age through participation in local musical theater productions, local dance troupes, and music lessons. She comes from a long line of musicians and educators, with both of her parents being active as performers and teachers at the high school and community college levels. Currently Meg is active in the Austin music scene, performing solo and as part of a duo act at local venues. Meg graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Arts in Music from San Francisco State University, emphasis in Classical Vocal Performance. She has previously performed as a member of the SFSU Chamber Singers, and as part of the bands, The Sheehys and The Way Down. Meg teaches voice and guitar lessons. She lives in South Austin with her husband, Dylan, and her orange tabby cat, Seamus.
