About

Amanda Mello is an emerging soprano currently earning her Master of Music in Vocal Arts at California State University, Northridge. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from California State University, Long Beach in 2019. Amanda’s most recent roles were the principal role of Kaylee in Speed Dating Tonight by Michael Ching, Furie #1 in L’ivrogne corrigé by Christoph Willibald Gluck, and cover for the role of Musetta in La Bohème by Giacomo Puccini. She performed as Mrs. Fiorentino in CSUN’s Street Scene by Kurt Weill in 2021. Alongside her performance endeavors, Amanda has been teaching private, semi-private, and group voice and piano lessons since 2019. She enjoys diversity in her students, whether that regards age, playing level, genre, or performance experience. Teaching is one of Amanda’s greatest joys and looks forward to sharing her love and music to all of her future students at Traveling Music Lessons!
