Jaime Andres is a musician originally from Bogota, Colombia. He took a leap of faith at the age of 17 and relocated to San Diego, California, to pursue a career in music. His musical journey took a pivotal turn at 19 when he first picked up a guitar, setting him on a path of dedication to mastering the instrument and exploring diverse musical genres.

While initially self-taught, Jaime recognized the value of formal education and decided to apply to San Diego Mesa College as a classical guitarist. His exceptional talent was acknowledged with multiple music scholarships, and he graduated with high honors. Subsequently, he expanded his musical horizons by enrolling in San Diego State University's Jazz Studies program, where he is currently on track to complete his Bachelor's Degree.

Jaime's teaching career began during his college years, where he eagerly shared his knowledge and expertise with his classmates. He offered tutoring in music theory, piano, and guitar, providing valuable guidance to those around him. Over the past four years, Jaime has pursued an independent teaching path, honing his instructional approach and sharing his passion with students of all ages.
