Jackson Arbogast is a guitarist, composer and producer who currently lives in Chicago, IL. Born and raised in Des Moines, IA, he began learning guitar at a young age and started his first band not too long after. Currently, Jackson is a jack-off-all-trades in the musical world, continuing to perform on his primary instrument of electric guitar among other instruments, while also working as a composer, producer and arranger. He has worked in a wide variety of genres; such jazz, rock, RnB, and Latin music. He can teach in any of these styles on both guitar and bass; as well as songwriting/composition, especially from an instrumental perspective. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Composition and Production from Columbia College Chicago. While in his last year of college, he worked as a guitar tutor for other students, with a focus on jazz improvisation as well as sight reading for guitarists. As a tutor dealing with several different topics of learning and different skill levels, Jackson is a casual and adaptable instructor, who can discuss both simple and complex ideas with students.
