Tyler Richmond was born and raised in Frederick, Maryland, where he discovered guitar at the age of five and swiftly started learning everything he could about the instrument. This led Tyler to Berklee College of Music where he earned his Bachelors and graduated with Honors in 2019. At Berklee Tyler got to study with Guy Davis, Kirby Kelley, and Mike Stern, as well as other amazing staff and faculty. Following graduation from Berklee, Tyler moved to Nashville where he has been working professionally as a musician. Tyler currently plays locally with a few artists here in town doing live shows and studio work. Tyler has a diverse background of musical styles including: Jazz, Rock, Blues, Funk, Bluegrass, Pop, Fusion, and pretty much everything in between. Tyler currently lives in Mt. Juliet with his fiancée, Emily, and their dachshund, Phoebe. Outside of music Tyler enjoys playing hockey, working on old cars, and spending time with family and friends.
