Adam is a seasoned performing artist based in Austin, TX, boasting an impressive background in guitar, bass, piano and vocals. With over 15 years’ experience captivating audiences in the Live Music Capital of the world, he is a multifaceted musician and a skilled songwriter. Music has been an integral part of Adam’s life since childhood, with the sounds of influential bands like The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and Roy Orbison shaping his early years. Although, Adam finds inspiration in all genres, he has a particular passion for alternative, new wave, and post-punk music. Major artist such as The Smiths, Radiohead, Nirvana, The Pixies, and David Bowie have greatly influenced his artistic journey. A graduate from James Madison University, he received a B.A. in Language Arts with a minor in Music Industry. Adam’s enthusiasm for music extends beyond his own pursuits; as he previously worked as a high school English teacher and taught group classes to aspiring students on how to perform as a rock band. Throughout his musical journey, he has been fortunate to study under several master guitar teachers and learn from some of Austin’s most talented performing musicians and session players. Presently, Adam serves as the lead singer and guitarist for the band Swiss Banks, showcasing his talent regularly in the thriving Austin music scene, with several of the band’s singles receiving radio play on the iconic radio stations KUTX and 101X. As a teacher, Adam’s approach is highly personalized, catering to the unique goals and aspirations of each student.
