Reid Libby is a rock star hailing from central Indiana. Picking up guitar at age 13, Reid played in various mediocre bands throughout high school and college, taking guitar lessons and covering too many Beatles songs all the while. Reid's double majors in literary studies and theater performance at Beloit College, combined with a semester abroad on the music track at Goldsmiths University of London, ignited a passion for spreading music articulately and enthusiastically. Reid moved to Chicago after college and taught as a substitute teacher briefly before spending the past five years teaching music in private and group lessons. Reid's core tenet is that their job is to put themself out of a job, by providing students with enough fire and know-how to learn music outside of the lesson room, whether that's between weekly lessons or after they head off to college! (Reid's other core tenet is learning how to play guitar behind your head.)
