Originally from New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, Roy grew up playing music - in school, in church, and in establishments in which he was too young to be a customer!
He now lives in Columbus, Ohio, where he operates a home recording studio for audio production and recording, guitar repair and maintenance, and music lessons.
A lover of all (well, most) musical styles, he teaches blues, rock, classical, finger style, acoustic and electric!
His teaching style is fun and laid-back, not only focusing on the technical aspect of guitar, but to also share a love and appreciation of playing music as a way to elevate and enhance your life. Music has been his therapy for years! Lessons are tailored to the individual student, children or adults, beginner or more advanced.
Roy has a BA degree in Communications, and a serious problem with guitar collection.
