Dalton is a skilled and experienced guitar player from Plano, Texas. His experience teaching masterclasses at Plano Senior High for middle and high school students has helped him better understand younger musicians. He taught basic theory, techniques, and improvisation to develop students into great players as they moved up through school. Dalton loved helping his students overcome challenges and watching them succeed in local jazz competitions. In the summer of 2021, Dalton played guitar in Grace Fellowship's worship band in Grand Prairie. Grace Fellowship is known for their outstanding worship service, and this experience expanded Dalton's live performance skills. Dalton studied at Texas State University as a Jazz Studies Major under Brian Pardo, learning complex music theory and harmony. He became a valuable member of the Texas State Guitar Ensemble by sight reading jazz, blues, rock, and funk music. Additionally, he played in the Texas State Jazz Band with featured solos in competitions. Overall, Dalton has a lot of experience teaching Jazz, but also really enjoys all genres of music. Dalton is a passionate individual invested in building relationships and helping his students grow.
