About

Born into a musical family, Chris began taking classical piano lessons at age six, and french horn lessons at age eight. Fascinated by all instruments and all styles of playing, Chris studied guitar and drums in his pre-teen years. Enthralled with music, he attended the University of Massachusetts @ Lowell as a Music Education major. His primary focus was percussion, under the tutelage of Fred Buda. He continued to be a multi-instrumentalist, performing and compositing on piano, guitar, bass and drums. He played in a variety of jazz and commercial music ensembles, namely folk, rock and traditional jazz groups. He brings over a decade of experience teaching students ranging from 6-60 years old. Additionally, Chris served as Program Coordinator and Instructor at a Montessori preschool for several years. Chris moved to Colorado in late 2002, where he continues to study, perform, compose, and record music on various instruments.
