About

LeRoy Kennedy (Music Director) is a native of Greenville SC and a recent transplant to Atlanta. He holds a Bachelors of Music in Music Education from the University of South Carolina and a Masters of Music in Choral Conducting from Winthrop University. He has 25 years of teaching experience as a choral director on both the middle and high school levels. He has music directed, vocal coached, performed and stage directed over 50 musical productions and various dinner theaters in the Upstate area of South Carolina. Some of his favorite roles/shows include: Les Miserable (Javert), The Little Mermaid (King Triton), Into the Woods (Wolf), The Color Purple (Music Director), Smokey Joe’s Cafe (Music Director) and The Wiz (Music Director). He enjoys reading, traveling, movies, real estate, working out and spending time with his 17 year old daughter Christina. He currently serves as music teacher at Hollis Innovation Academy in Atlanta, GA and Director of Music at North Springs United Methodist Church.
