Mary Redente is a musician, performer and award winning songwriter, bringing over three decades of experience to students and stages. Through her experience as both an instructor and performer of music, Mary has developed a wide variety of professional musical and performance capacities that appeal to audiences of all ages.

As a Music Teacher, Mary has worked with kid’s ages four through adult providing instruction on piano, acoustic guitar, voice and songwriting. Whilst her initial training in piano and voice was in the classical style, her approach to music embraces genres of all types. Her goal as a teacher is to focus on content that students want to learn, weaving the foundation of theory into practical, fun application, inspiring students to continue their development and master their chosen instrument.

As a songwriter and performer, Mary has recorded two full-length studio albums, a plethora of singles, won songwriting awards through the esteemed West Coast Songwriters Association, and given countless performances. She has played on stages ranging from European cathedrals to music clubs, worship halls, The White House and private house concerts. As both a soloist and band member, Mary has developed the chops and presence required of a professional musician and entertainer. She brings these skills to her students, helping them to develop both the fundamentals of playing, and the confidence to do so in front of an audience.
