About

Evan is a native of Nashville, TN, born and raised in the neighborhood of Crieve Hall. He grew up in a musical environment, and started playing drums at the age of 6, taking inspiration from bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, and many more. Later in life, his interests expanded into jazz and fusion, and he completed UT Knoxville's Studio Music & Jazz program in 2019, earning a Bachelor's Degree in music. Throughout his time in college, he studied privately with Keith Brown, and was able to attend masterclasses and perform with artists such as Herlin Riley, Kendrick Scott, Christian McBride, and Gregory Tardy. After completing college, he traveled all over the country playing in a band, and has done many studio sessions in San Diego, Portland and Nashville. He has been teaching for 7 years, and is able to accommodate students of all ages.
