Trent Jones is a guitar player currently based in Nashville, TN. Trent has been playing the guitar for 17 years now and for the last seven years has had the honor of teaching students from all around the country. When Trent is not teaching, you can find him playing in downtown Nashville on Broadway or with his original music project "Pump Action" which is a rock band comprised of peers Trent met during his time studying music at the University of Miami. Trent's influences are comprised of many rock, metal, and blues greats ranging from Randy Rhoads to Stevie Ray Vaughan. However, over the last decade Trent has prided himself on versatility. This commitment to being able to play all genres and styles on the guitar has shown itself during Trent's involvement with numerous large latin music acts while in Miami, and his consistent stay on Broadway playing almost exclusively country music in Nashville. Because of this, Trent is capable of teaching all styles of guitar to players of any experience level. Trent has a deep passion for helping students become the guitar player they want to be, and he makes sure to always keep his students' goals and aspirations in the forefront when he designs a curriculum.
