Tyler Foos is originally from Aptos, California where he began playing the electric guitar in the 4th grade. His dad is a musician and got him in to music at a very young age. Currently, Tyler just moved to Nashville to pursue a career in session work, composition, arranging, and gigging. He was originally self taught but later studied with renowned guitar professors, Tim Miller, Jon Finn, and Dave Fiuczynski at Berklee College of Music. He later graduated from Berklee with a degree in Contemporary Writing & Production. He taught private guitar lessons and ran local high school rock bands right out of high school for 3 years before committing to Berklee. Tyler specializes in teaching rock and fusion guitar. He teaches anyone from beginner to advanced. His teaching philosophy promotes an enjoyable experience that is never overwhelming. In addition to music, Tyler loves to play golf and baseball.
