Kevin Egan’s musical journey began on the Lower East Side of New York City, performing at the legendary CBGB at the age of 17. He and his bandmates in the punk/hardcore/metal band Beyond toured regularly and left a mark on the city and the genre with their LP No Longer at Ease. Following Beyond, he played in 1.6 Band, recording several EPs and a LP with legendary recording engineer Wharton Tiers (Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, Helmet). The Last Crime, his following project, established their own legacy after touring and recording at Inner Ear Studio (Fugazi, Jawbox). Later, Kevin studied songwriting and music theory at New School University, then moved to Austin, TX, the music capital of the world, where he performed regularly. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
