Jake Rhind is from Arizona, currently residing in Scottsdale. He first began playing guitar at age 11. He's experimented with producing music on his own of many different genres. He's become more focused on being a guitar player than a producer recently joining an emo/pop-punk band, performing at open mics, and playing with jam groups. He's influenced by rock, R&B, funk, classical, hip-hop, metal, punk, jazz, and blues. He took private lessons regularly until the age of 19 studying guitar and bass guitar. His approach to teaching is based around learning songs that the student likes and wants to learn. He believes that it's easiest to learn the instrument if someone is playing the music they love to listen to. In addition to music Jake enjoys cooking and watching well written films and TV shows.
