Michael Redding has enjoyed a distinguished career as a classical-opera singer for over the the past two and a half decades, performing in some of the leading Opera Houses worldwide. And while stage performing continues to be one of the great loves of his life, He now finds himself settling into another of his many loves - teaching. Having grown up singing in church, Mr. Redding feels that, "everyone knows how to sing - (children remind me of this constantly) so there doesn't ever seem to be very much to teach. However, how well we would all like to sing lies within us." This philosophy fell upon Mr. Redding when he first began teaching in 2018 with VAF in Colorado Springs - and later with TOI in Taos New Mexico where he is currently on faculty. Inspiring singers of all ages, He continues to find his unique grounding as he makes his mark in the world of education.

"Studying classically and operatically trained and sharpened me immensely. But it has always been my fascination with singing and how we creatures make sound that sustains me. What the human voice is capable of is nothing short of amazing!"
