Hatem Elgenedy is an Egyptian composer based in Los Angeles. He specializes in music composition and sound editing for visual media, including movies, video games, music videos, and other projects.

A composer and performer since childhood, Hatem has toured the United States, Europe and the Middle East, singing opera and lending his immense talents as a pianist and violinist. He has sung opera with some of the most famous orchestras and opera houses, such as the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Opera Dubai, the Cairo Opera House, as well as sang in one of the biggest opera festivals in Europe: Savonlinna Opera Festival in Finland.

Hatem Elgenedy has composed Music scores and edited sound for shorts, trailers, commercials and featurettes, and more, including music for Sitter, comedy short, What Future, Sci-fi short Mascatonic, horror sci-fi web series featurette, Through The Woods, and others.

His awards include:

"Best Horror Film" at the International Burbank Film Festival for Through the Woods. "Best soundtrack" at 48 Hour Film Festival at Minnesota State University at Moorhead for Final Transmission. One of the tops 10 at the International Horror Film Scoring competition. One of the tops 5 at the Indie Gathering Film scoring Festival.
