About

Daniel has been a student of music since he received his first guitar at the early age of 6. Owing much to his upbringing in a musical family, Daniel continued his musical studies through private lessons and by playing in various ensembles including orchestras and worship groups. The decision was made to pursue a degree in music performance and Daniel ultimately earned a Bachelor's degree as well as a Master's degree in classical guitar performance and studio/jazz guitar performance respectively. Daniel's favorite thing about music is that it has always been a source of joy and he takes great care to ensure that his student's efforts are directed towards acquiring the skills and tools they need to be able to play the music that they love. Daniel's studies in various instruments and across multiple styles and genres, afford him the ability to assist students of all ages and skill levels in their musical journey. Students are encouraged to learn how to read music notation, and instructed about proper technique and form, as well as informed about music theory. Regardless of any theoretical and technical aspects a student explores, they can always expect to leave lessons with the tools they need to practice and perform a favorite song, musical piece, or particular style of music that they love.
