A 3rd-generation Blues guitarist whose family's musical roots go back as far as is traceable, Kyle Sage-Clontz has appeared on stage and in studio with numerous Colorado-based Blues, Rock, and Metal bands for over 15 years. Having completed his primary musical education with his uncle Howard Berkman, the late frontman of Chicago underground legends The Knaves and Yama and the Karma Dusters, he also studied under former Megadeth guitarist Chris Broderick. In addition to his musical background, Kyle holds a B.A. in Secondary Education from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and has 2 years of in-classroom experience in Denver and Aurora Public Schools primarily providing individual and small-group instruction for students grades 6-12. Among other musical credits, he has performed with premier Colorado Blues group The Johnny O Band, cutting-edge Post-Industrial act Scifidelic, the 2012-14 revival of the Karma Dusters, and was co-founder of the versatile Denver Hard Rock band Mustard.
