Marty has taught several subjects to a wide variety of kids in numerous environments.
He has an extensive background and career in education. As a Colorado licensed classroom teacher, Marty taught journalism, English, photography, and music -- K-12 and beyond. He has studied writing and performance, and he loves to sing (and play percussion) in his church choir. Marty currently teaches private piano, drums and voice lessons in the Denver area. Marty emphasizes small group ensemble collaboration within his studio. Being part of an ensemble develops listening and rhythmic skills and grows repertoire.
