Karen has more than eleven years of experience teaching piano lessons to students of all ages, primarily at the beginning and intermediate learning levels. Additionally, she has taught private voice lessons for several years to students ages thirteen to adult. Karen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music in Voice from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she continued piano studies which she had begun in childhood. She graduated from Indiana with high distinction. In addition, Karen holds a Master of Divinity degree from Harvard University, where she wrote her thesis on singing and worshiping.
