Sydney started playing the piano when she was 6 years old in Lake Charles, LA. She's been playing for 25 years and in that time she's played in several bands, in many churches, in 2 Louisiana orchestras, for many weddings, funerals, concerts, plays, and has competed and won several awards for her playing. She holds a General Music certificate from Berklee College of Music and is working toward an additional teaching certification now. A great passion in her life is to teach music and share her love of the piano with others.  She's been teaching for 15 years now, and it's become something that she enjoys as much as making music herself. Today, if she's not out hiking, camping, and exploring the beautiful state of Colorado with her partner, she loves snuggling up with her cat, Lily, and reading a good book or knitting something cozy.
