About

Gideon Park is a lifelong piano and cello player who has competed at the state level in California. Having been in master classes both at the State Panel honors level as well as with numerous highly-esteemed professors in Southern California, he has always been passionate about being both technical and accurate to musical works. While finishing his bachelor's in Religious Studies, he studied one year of piano performance at Northwestern University under Dr. Sylvia Wang. Throughout his musical career, he has performed as both soloist and accompanist in various ensemble and orchestral groups.
As a cellist, he has been first chair at CSUN's Philharmonic youth orchestra, and continues to play for weddings, events, and recordings, while still teaching privately on occasion.
As a teacher, he finds it rewarding when young students make lasting connections with the music as well as uncovering the artistry that reside within themselves. He enjoys reading and resides in Tustin, California with his cat Izzy who enjoys a luxurious lifestyle by cat standards.
