Angelica Torres was raised in Minnesota, but spent the last 20 years in Hollywood, CA, pursuing an acting and singing career. She studied music theory, and participated in many choirs and Acapella groups in her younger years. She just moved to Liberty Hill, TX, and can’t wait to share her life experience with her students. Her unique stance as a teacher comes from a plethora of professional life experience. From child actress, to starring in movies and tv as an adult, to her pop star career, that left her with 18 published and streamable pop singles and numerous music videos. She even wrote, produced and starred in her own tv show, that was based on her music, and her life. Angelica was classically trained, doing operas and musical theater in her younger years, but she always leaned towards contemporary pop music stylings, and loves to focus on that for students who want a less classical approach. But she can also teach a structured classical approach, too. Depending on the students wants and needs. Angelica has taught acting, singing and songwriting to all ages. She can teach the basics to beginners, or help to sculpt the most skilled singers; honing in on their technical skills, or anything specific they want to improve upon. Angelica is excited to share her life experience with all students, from the most inexperienced, to any student looking to make singing into a career. She loves to sing, it is her greatest joy, and she wants to spread that joy to all.
