About

Kelly Noro is a mezzo soprano originally from Pickerington, Ohio. She is a music major with a Bachelor Degree of the Arts from the University of South Florida (USF) and an Associates Degree from St. Petersburg College (SPC). During her tenure at SPC, she was a recipient of the esteemed Charlotte Anthony Music Scholarship. She was on the Dean’s List at USF and is a member of both Pi Kappa Lambda and Sigma Alpha Pi. Kelly has performed with both the Opera Tampa chorus and The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay, performing in venues like The STRAZ Center, The Mahaffey Theater, and Ruth Eckerd Hall. She has performed in the cast of Macbeth, The Pearl Fishers, and La Boheme. She has sung in the chorus alongside The Florida Orchestra performing works such as Carl Orf’s “Carmina Burana”, Handel’s “Messiah”, Verdi’s “Requiem”, and many more. She has also performed under the baton of Eric Whitacre in “Deep Field: A Cosmic Experience” in 2019.
