Andrea Lane is a teacher/singer/songwriter, who has been in the music industry for over 20 years. As a teacher, she got her start with the program ‘This is Where I Live’ for elementary school children. This position entails teaching songs about values to children. These are character building songs. It culminates with a live music performance where parents are invited. The artist teacher keeps the children engaged while learning songs that are fun for them. She has also taught students at the Redondo Beach Unified School district. Students love her sense of humor, and her kind way of getting them involved in music. Andrea studied under the tutelage of big names like Florence Riggs, Gerald White and Lis Lewis. She shares her original music in mostly spiritual venues around the U.S. Andrea fronted several bands including the popular L.A. band, ‘North Green’ that had several songs featured on the popular television show, ‘Gilmore
Girls.' She can't wait to get started on your musical goals!
