Tyler teaches guitar with intention to help each student reach their performing goals. He believes in a mixture of by-the-book teaching for a basic understanding of music theory, and jam sessions to unlock an understanding of musical chemistry. He is a music lover to the core; he lives and breathe for the creation of music. He has been playing guitar for over 10 years and has a personal focus on blues and jazz. However, he have studied many genres and styles of music and feel confident in teaching even the most sonically adventurous student. He hopes to take each student to the next level in their desired playing by helping them build their skills and knowledge of the instrument.
