Timur Duel is a classically trained guitarist, teacher and composer based in Orange County, California. He has been teaching for over 20 years and is a patient and friendly instructor aiming to get best out of his students of all ages and abilities.

Timur was born in the former Soviet Union and began studying classical guitar at the age of 13 at a local music school in his hometown of Baku, Azerbaijan. When his family moved to Israel in the late 90s, Timur continued his studies at Tel Aviv Music Academy for a Bachelor of Music.

His life took a new turn in 2004 when he moved to USA. Timur settled in Orange County and has been teaching and playing gigs throughout SoCal since then.

He teaches classical/Spanish guitar as well as acoustic guitar and ukulele. Despite having his main focus on classical guitar , Timur teaches various other styles including contemporary songs. He prepares his students for RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) examination (which is encouraged, but not required)
