Bijan Bygrave hails from Jamaica but was raised in New York, where his passion for music took root. Immersed in music from middle school, he participated in extracurricular activities like the Songwriter Club and his school's Acapella group. While mostly self-taught, Bijan supplemented his knowledge with music classes and choir participation.

In high school, Bijan's dedication bore fruit as he had the opportunity to work with esteemed instructors like Jeffery Redding and Joseph Young. Graduating from Eagles Landing High School in McDonough, GA, he garnered multiple awards in the music category, including recognition from District Honor Choir and Spivey Hall Honors Choir.

Bijan's teaching journey began in the church choir, evolving from a member to a conductor for the Bass choir, working with students aged 14 to 22. His teaching philosophy emphasizes confidence and camaraderie among peers, believing it crucial for vocal expression and performance. Bijan's approach blends structure with a laid-back atmosphere, fostering an environment where students feel empowered to give their all to every song.
