Kayuri Naito was born and raised in Japan, and her piano lesson started at the age of 7. She enjoyed playing classical music, but stopped playing when she was a middle school student to focus on her school life. While studying architecture at university, she became interested in singing and decided to learn music in Los Angeles. Since she enrolled at Musicians Institute, she has been inspired by a variety of genres, especially R&B, Blues, and Pop. She learned not only vocals but also keyboard and music business. After graduating, she started to teach students the piano, theory, and vocals.
At the same time, she realized Jazz brings her more joy and began studying Jazz in 2021. After she took some classes at the college in 2021-2023, she started teaching the students piano not only privately but also at Tustin Music Center and Live Music Academy.
