Major has his Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Jackson State University (Majored on double-bass).

Major has forty-five plus years of experience as a live performing guitarist and vocalist.
He has acted as musical director for live music productions, including
overseeing rehearsals and managing musicians.

He managed music books and organized sheet music for performances
and rehearsals.

He has been the executor of the principle artist's show performance and acted as technical liaison between the band and stage crews.

He has produced his own records and thus has a general knowledge of all aspects of the recording process, including recording, the operation of DAWs, mixing, mastering and songwriting.
