About

Mr. Andrews is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, where he received a masters degree in violin performance and pedagogy in 2023. During high school, he attended the Meadowmount School of Music and was selected as concertmaster for one of Texas’ All-State Orchestras (TMEA). Since, he has pursued a variety of opportunities to teach and perform, joining the Boulder Symphony and the Pineywoods String Quartet, among others. Studying under the late Charles Wetherbee at CU Boulder, he brought his dream of a musical life into clearer view. Though the violin is his first love, he devoted years to becoming a proficient pianist in order to work more broadly as a musician. Mr. Andrews now lives in Colorado Springs, where he enjoys climbing, composing, performing, and teaching music.
