About

Veronica Prevost is a classically trained singer from Lakeland, Florida. She started singing when was two, joined choir in fourth grade, and has never stopped singing since. Veronica is currently a member of the Bach Festival Choir and a newly formed small chamber ensemble named For Old and New (FOAN), both being based in Winter Park, Florida. As a recent graduate of Rollins College, she studied under Stephen Mumbert and Dr. John V. Sinclair and has performed in choral masterworks such as Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Bach’s St. Matthew Passion, Mozart’s Requiem and Coronation Mass, Dvorak’s Stabat Mater, and much more. Veronica has also had the opportunity to sing alongside the a cappella group Voctave, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Bach Festival Orchestra. She graduated from Rollins with a BA in music and specializes mostly in classical repertoire, but also has dabbled in musical theatre, pop opera, and jazz. When it comes to teaching, she loves to find a balance between having fun/being silly and utilizing fundamental exercises/techniques in order to help her students accomplish their goals. As of right now, Veronica is using the summer to recharge after a long last year of college and spend more time with her sister and three dogs Max, Kota, and Bear.
