The son of a veteran music teacher, Ian has been playing piano since he was able to move his fingers. With a Bachelor's Degree in Composition/Commercial and Media Writing from California State, University, Ian has a strong passion for anything revolving around music.

Before deciding to major in composition, Ian was originally a piano performance major, handpicked by world-renowned pianist, Dmitry Rachmanov. After studying under Rachmanov for two years, Ian decided that composition held his interest better. However, he continues to study piano and further his passion for playing.

In addition to piano, Ian has been playing viola since age ten and did so all the way from fourth grade through college. In high school, he was part of an orchestra that was invited to play at Carnegie Hall.

Ian produces his own music ranging from film scoring to pop music. He's always looking for talented singers or other musicians to make music with and teach them everything he knows.
