Amber Gonzalez has over twenty years of experience in vocals, piano, flute and songwriting. She has two years of experience playing the guitar and is always looking to expand her musical knowledge. Amber was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, where she currently resides with her daughter. She attended O'Connor High School before receiving her B.A.in Literature from UTSA in 2013. She eventually received her M.A. in Literature, Creative Writing and Social Justice from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2017. Since then Amber has pursued a career in teaching, which has led her to teach students of all ages, ranging from pre-k to college. Music and teaching have always been and remain Amber's greatest passions in life. She finds great joy in watching students learn and grow. Amber is currently working on her first studio album and is the lead singer of a band. It is her goal to encourage learning, growing, and healthy coping mechanisms through music and art, providing students with a strong foundation to create positive change throughout the community.
