Born, raised, and based in sunny Los Angeles, CA, Sophia began studying classical voice and piano at the age of 11. She has had the privilege of performing with world-renowned companies like the Metropolitan Opera in NYC, and graduated from The Juilliard School in 2016 with a BM in Vocal Performance. In addition to performing classical music, Sophia loves rocking it out to other genres like pop, jazz, and soul, and you can often find her performing voice and piano at LA-based venues like The Gardenia and Sawtelle Studios. In addition to building their technical capabilities as singers, Sophia is passionate about helping students discover what makes their voices unique, and developing connection to their bodies through the power of music. When she’s not singing, Sophia enjoys expressing herself through songwriting, or getting out in the beautiful LA sunshine with her beloved beagle, Daphne.
